An ancient lacy holly outside our studio window adorned with bird feeders and red berries makes this tree a favorite destination for cardinals, yellow finches, and blue birds. A flutter of constant activity was a daily source of colorful entertainment and the idea for this work. The photogenic drawing of the branches is overlayed with watercolor birds. Archivally printed on handmade Japanese rice paper. Signed and numbered by Madeline and Robert Longstreet. Edition of 75. Each panel 32 x 60″.
