Hedges/ An Experimentation in Photography

The story of Hedges in our collection traces travel in England, to handbuilt pinholes*, photogenic drawings* and most recently photograms using cutouts.

Intrigued with this architectural element that gardeners use as primary building blocks in their landscape design we keep coming back to this theme. In a playful progression from camera to camera-less, object to abstract we have moved from modern technology to a hand crafted antique photo process that has become our trademark.
The Hedge is everything we do in one story.
