Victorian Waterlily VWL

Victoria is a genus of water lilies named in honor of Queen Victoria. The leaf can be up to 9 feet and can support a person up to 70 pounds due to its structure. This specimen was saved for us before the plants bulb was removed in November before the winter freeze. Handling it required heavy gloves as the edges were heavy with thorns. A nature print captured on film was made in our studio. Photogenic drawing by Madeline and Robert Longstreet. Archivally printed on 300 gsm watercolor paper. Signed by Madeline and Robert,. Numbered edition of 50.
